What are learning analytics?

Learning analytics are the collection, measurement, and analysis of data about learner training performance. When learning and development teams examine metrics such as performance, behavioral, engagement, and demographic data, they gain insights into how employees learn and apply that knowledge. Learning analytics provide L&D teams a comprehensive picture of training programs performance across the organization.
