Demand on enablement teams is higher than ever to deliver impactful programs that equip sales and success teams to do their best work. Widespread AI adoption continues to shift workflows and expectations, and the enablement team at Articulate understands that better than most. In addition to helping customers make the most of new features and working styles, the Go-to-Market (GTM) Enablement team at Articulate leads by example.
That same pace that’s created a challenge for Articulate customers has impacted Articulate’s GTM Enablement team, responsible for equipping sales, customer success, and reseller partners with the tools and knowledge to confidently know, show, say, and do in customer interactions. Their work spans onboarding, skill development, product education, and the effective use of marketing assets, all in service of conversations that connect business needs to product value.
“Ultimately, our goal is to help teams grow their skills and apply them in ways that drive stronger outcomes and greater impact,” says Monique Filler, Senior Manager of Customer Success Enablement.

Keep enablement ahead of products that are changing faster than ever
As new products shipped faster than ever, the GTM Enablement team noticed gaps in their workflow. Managers noticed that in some fast-moving launches, reps had missed key features in their demos or misinterpreted new messaging, making it difficult to fully support customer relationships.
The gap wasn’t due to a lack of effort. The GTM Enablement team had always moved quickly to get information out through pre-reads, product documentation, and live sessions. But getting information out and building real capability are two different things. It’s easy to skim slides, or watch recordings without fully absorbing the content. Enablement shipped information quickly and effectively, but without interactivity, reinforcement, or tracking, there was no way to know whether teams understood it well enough to do their best work.
The team needed to lean into tools built for that: interactive enough to drive real understanding, fast enough to keep up with business needs, and with tracking to prove it worked.

Empowering frontliners with the company’s own tools
The GTM Enablement team has long used Articulate products to support its work, leveraging templates and standards set by in-house L&D experts to hit the ground running. As the platform evolved, so did the team’s approach. Today, they use Articulate software to deliver enablement as fast as the company innovates, going beyond information sharing to ensure training actually sticks.
Interactivity is at the core of that shift. Rise with embedded AI enables the team to quickly create clear, engaging drafts with interactive elements, knowledge checks, and scenario-based practice built in. “We don’t think of AI as a separate tool. It’s embedded into how we work,” says Deborah Sanderfur, Senior Manager of Sales Enablement.
The team has integrated AI to generate first drafts because the output is grounded in the science of how people actually learn and reliably hits the mark. “Articulate, with integrated AI, has changed what we’re able to do,” adds Filler. “It unlocks the true potential of enablement. It allows us to create high-quality first drafts quickly. Then, if something shifts mid-project, we can update content, generate new sections, and keep pace. Our teams get what they need almost in real time.”
The team also uses Localization to scale its efforts globally, translating English training into 24 languages so partners and reps around the world receive equitable enablement training in their native language, which positively impacts engagement and retention.
For distribution, the team relies on Quick Share to turn enablement into measurable results. “Tracking and accountability are critical,” says Filler. “With Quick Share, we can see who’s engaged and how time is spent on training. But the survey block responses give us insight into how learners process and apply the content, not just whether they’ve consumed it. That visibility is essential to effective enablement.”
And training isn’t one-and-done. Reinforcement is built into the team’s content sequence. With Articulate, the team builds structured learning experiences that start with interactive pre-work, continue through live sessions, and extend into spaced e-learning reinforcement over time. This approach helps frontline teams build capability at a manageable pace while creating opportunities to apply what they’ve learned in realistic scenarios.
Recently, the team collaborated on a major product launch by building a role-based certification program for sales, customer success, and partner teams. They used AI to create a first draft, then collaborated with SMEs to produce a polished version in one week. They tailored each version to the audience’s needs and included interactive elements that encouraged active learning and deeper understanding.
The certification program changed frontliners’ launch experience. “Teams felt more confident and performed more consistently,” says Sanderfur. The program drove launch revenue to reach 108% of the goal.

Faster, smarter, more thoughtful enablement
For the GTM Enablement team, the impact shows up in both efficiency and effectiveness. Articulate hasn’t just made content easier to produce. It offers interactivity, tracking, and reinforcement structure, so the team can be confident that the courses actually work.
That confidence carries into the field. Participants in the certification program reported greater clarity and readiness, calling it one of the most impactful learning experiences of the year. “Having the Rise course was a huge game changer,” said one Customer Success Manager. “The one-stop shop made it so much easier to feel fully prepared.”
AI has played a key role in helping the team scale without sacrificing control. “AI isn’t all or nothing,” says Sanderfur. “We guide the creation and strategy, and make sure the output lands.”
“Being able to quickly turn content into effective training is critical,” says Filler. “Our teams are stretched. We have to be thoughtful about when we take them away from work with customers. Interactive, self-paced learning helps us make the most of that live time with discussion, practice, and deeper engagement.”
The result: Frontline teams engage with training, retain the information, and perform more consistently in customer conversations. The certification program drives measurable customer experience and revenue performance improvements.
