We work hard to maintain your trust so you can be confident about the safety of your data as you use Articulate apps and services. We’ve built a robust security infrastructure and hired skilled engineers to protect your information. Customer data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is strictly controlled, and we comply with industry standards like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and ISO 27701 so your data remains secure.

We retain your customer data for an additional six months past the duration of your subscription. This is in accordance with our contractual documentation and data retention policies. When it comes to any AI subprocessors, we have a zero data retention policy. That means we require all of our AI subprocessors to delete any customer data immediately after generating output.

We will not use any of your data to train our AI models. For more information, please see our Terms of Service. When you use our features, we aggregate your content and use advanced prompt techniques at each instance to generate an output for each request. We do NOT use your content to train any LLM. This is, in part, why we retain your content while you remain a customer. We only keep your customer data for purposes of providing you services under your agreement.
