To deliver the best possible outcomes for the communities it serves, Halff believes in providing career development and leadership opportunities for team members across the firm via in-person and online learning. But doing this at scale—for over 1,500 employees across 33 offices—is no small feat.

To accomplish this, Stephen Tindula, Senior Instructional Designer, is always looking for ways to streamline course creation without sacrificing quality. In a previous role, he used Articulate to create rapid training for product releases. He found it a valuable tool to design, create, and develop high-quality courses quickly, even with a lean team. 

With a team of just three instructional designers at Halff responsible for creating training across the organization, Tindula’s team got started with Articulate. Their goal: to create training that helped individuals and teams excel, rise to new opportunities, and impart their knowledge across the firm.

Halff uses a variety of Articulate products to quickly create high-quality training, including Rise, Storyline, and AI Assistant. “We’re using these products to quickly develop the training,” says Tindula. “It’s been eight months, and I’ve put together approximately 20 trainings for the organization.” 

Tindula notes that Rise’s built-in AI features and course templates are particularly helpful in cutting down on development time. “Using Rise to quickly develop these courses has been a tremendous asset for us,” he says. With AI Assistant, he finds that he can create high-quality voiceover work without the need for a dedicated sound studio.

Tindula especially appreciates AI Assistant’s ability to pull information from an entire course to distill information into its most essential parts. This saves Halff substantial time and resources and eliminates the need to toggle between tools.

“It gives you a lot in a very short amount of time,” says Tindula of AI Assistant. “We’re able to rapidly develop and deploy a lot of training content across all of the different offices, which helps everybody.”

“We’re able to take that culture and spread it with all of these other offices,” he says. “The value that we’re getting out of this is that everybody speaks to the same language, to the same culture.”

By leveraging Articulate 360 AI as opposed to other e-learning authoring tools, Tindula finds he can illustrate key concepts in richer, more dynamic ways. “It allows you to expand on your creativity, but also expand on how you present your information,” he says. “To have a tool like this and be able to communicate across just does wonders for the firm as a whole.”
