Rolecraft builds training for some of the most constraint-driven audiences in corporate L&D: frontline industrial workers on factory floors, bank managers driving out to agricultural clients, and field sales teams who need to practice judgment calls, not just absorb information. Founder Eduardo Leopold has been creating training for corporate clients for well over a decade—and the projects Rolecraft takes on reflect that experience.

For projects where the training itself needs to change how a learner sees their job, Storyline provides the depth of interactivity that makes that possible. A project for a major tire manufacturer is one example. Rolecraft needed to help a sales team internalize consultative selling behaviors they already knew but weren’t practicing. The solution combined footage shot from a first-person perspective on helmet-mounted cameras—simulating a day in the field—with interactive decision points built in Storyline. Learners experienced a day in the field from the seller’s point of view, made decisions at key moments, and saw the consequences of each path.

“This type of approach is simple, but it completely changed the perspective of the training,” says Leopold. “The learner felt inside the action and made decisions where they could see the consequences of their choices.” Storyline handled the video clips, interaction logic, media controls, and publishing in a format compatible with the client’s existing LMS.

For global clients, Rolecraft uses Articulate 360 AI’s built-in translation and localization capabilities to produce parallel course versions without starting over. As Leopold puts it: “It’s not enough to do a translation and simply deliver the package—it requires localization of the text and also of the visual communication.” Images carry cultural context and layouts shift when word lengths change.
