LMS    Course is never completed in Saba 5.4 (SCORM 1.2)

If you are using Saba version 5.4 and find that the course status is never being set to Completed (or Passed) in the LMS, then this topic will explain how to correct the problem.

On exit of a course, Presenter ’09 will set (cmi.core.exit) the LMS to “suspend.” Saba version 5.4 will ignore the value that the content has set for status (cmi.core.lesson_status) if the course has an exit status of “suspend,” even if the lesson status is set to “Passed” or “Completed” by the content.  

To correct the problem on the Articulate side, do the following:

1. Download this zip file.
2. Unzip the file.
3. Copy the SCORMFunctions.js file to the following locations on your system:
   C:\Program Files\Articulate\Presenter\players\template_scorm\lms
   C:\Program Files\Articulate\Articulate Quizmaker\Content\lms
   C:\Program Files\Articulate\Articulate Engage\content\lms 
4.  If prompted, select Yes to replace.
5. Republish your content to SCORM.
6. Upload it to Saba.

Your content should display the status correctly in Saba.
