If you have Avast installed on your computer, you may be unable to publish. You can confirm that this is the issue by temporarily disabling Avast. Here's how:

  1. Right click the Avast icon in your taskbar.
  2. Click Stop On-Access Protection.

After disabling On-Access Protection, republish. If you are able to, you should uninstall Avast and select a different antivirus program like AVG Free.

This issue has been reported to Avast and we are seeking to find a resolution. Please be aware that this issue is very sporadic and does not occur on all machines with Avast installed.  If you do experience this issue, please submit a support case to us and provide us with the following information:

  • Your operating system information
  • The version of Avast that you have installed (Home or Pro) and the actual version number of Avast.
