If your Presenter ’09 menu is no longer visible (gone or missing) or certain aspects of the program don't function, the Articulate add-ins may be inactive or disabled. Please do the following while logged in as an administrator on your computer to enable inactive or disabled items in PowerPoint (consult with your IT department if you don’t have admin privileges):
Note: If you’re not logged in as an administrator on your machine, you will need to navigate to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12 and right-click on POWERPNT.EXE (exact location may vary), then select Run as administrator to enable disabled items in PowerPoint.
Select the Add-Ins tab on the left side of the window that opens.
From the Manage drop-down list at the bottom of the screen, select Disabled Items and click the Go button as shown in the image below:
If anything is listed as being disabled (as shown in the image below), select it and click the Enable button. (Repeat for all items that are disabled.)
From the Manage drop-down list at the bottom of the screen, select COM Add-ins and click the Go button as shown in the image below:
Ensure that Articulate Presenter Communicator and Articulate Presenter Ribbon are checked (selected).
Click the OK button.
Restart PowerPoint.

Trust Center Settings
If your Articulate menu still is not visible or is not functioning after performing the steps above, you may need to verify your Trust Center Settings in PowerPoint 2010. Here's how:
Select the File tab.
Click Options.
Select the Trust Center tab.
Click the Trust Center Settings button.
Select the Add-ins tab.
Ensure that the following check boxes are not checked:
"Require Application Add-ins to be signed by Trusted Publisher"
"Disable all Application Add-ins"
Click the OK button to close the Trust Center.
Click the OK button to close PowerPoint Options.
Close PowerPoint altogether.
Open PowerPoint again, and verify that your Articulate menu is visible and active.
Click the Microsoft Office button (upper left hand corner).
Select PowerPoint Options.
Select Add-ins.
From the Manage drop-down list at the bottom of the screen, select Disabled Items and click the Go button as shown in the image below:
If anything is listed as being disabled (as shown in the image below), select it and click the Enable button. (Repeat for all items that are disabled.)
From the Manage drop-down list at the bottom of the screen, select COM Add-ins and click the Go button as shown in the image below:

Restart PowerPoint.
