Do I download Articulate software or install it from a disk?

All Articulate software is available exclusively as a download, so you can start using it right away. After you buy an Articulate software product, you'll receive an email with download instructions and a serial number. If you don't receive an email within an hour, check your spam folder for an email from Articulate support.

Can I install Articulate software on more than one computer?

You can install our authoring software on two computers—such as a home computer and a work computer, or a desktop and a laptop—for your use only. If you get a message that you've exceeded permitted activations, you may need to uninstall the software on an old computer or buy additional licenses. There's no restriction on the number of people who view published content. See the Articulate End-User License Agreement (EULA) for additional details.

Can I transfer a license from one computer to another?

Yes. Connect to the internet, then uninstall the software from your old computer (Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs) to release the registration from the computer. Then install the software on your new computer by following the activation instructions you received when you purchased your software. If you don't have this email, contact Articulate support for help.

Can I get my money back if I change my mind?

You can get a full refund within 30 days of purchasing our desktop software—no questions asked. Just contact Articulate support.

How do I buy software for my tax-exempt organization?

We can set up a tax-exempt account for your organization. Just contact us and provide your tax-exempt certificate and email address.

I want to upgrade my Articulate products. What do I do?

Make sure you have your serial numbers on hand. If you're a current Premium Membership Plan member, request your free upgrade. Otherwise, visit the store, choose your upgrade, and enter your current serial numbers in the store order comments for proof of eligibility.

If you purchased a previous version of software within 30 days of the new release, we'll give you a free upgrade to the current version. Just contact us with your order number and serial number.

Where can I find the serial numbers for my existing products?
  • You can find your Storyline serial number when Storyline is open in Help -> About Articulate Storyline. Your serial number is listed on the splash screen.
  • You can find your Articulate Presenter serial number when PowerPoint is open in Articulate -> Help and Support -> About Articulate Presenter ’09 -> Serial Number.
  • You can find your Articulate Quizmaker serial number in Help -> About Articulate Quizmaker ’09 -> Serial Number.
  • You can find your Articulate Engage serial number in Help -> About Articulate Engage ’09 -> Serial Number.

What Articulate products can I upgrade?

You can upgrade each product to the new version of the same product. If you have all the individual products of Articulate Studio suites (Pro or Standard), you can upgrade to the newest version of that suite.

How can I find and contact my sales rep?

Contact us and let us know where you're located. Your dedicated sales rep will contact you quickly. If you have a technical support or product activation question, please submit a support case.

How do I cancel my Articulate Online account?

Just request a cancellation. You can cancel at any time, but there are no partial term downgrade refunds, refunds, or credits for partial term service, or refunds for terms unused with an open account.

How do I upgrade my Articulate Online account?

If you have a trial account, go to Compare Plans and click the Sign Up button for the plan you want to purchase. When you get your product activation email, follow the instructions to log in to your account and apply your new serial number to complete the upgrade.

If you have a paid account, contact Articulate support to let us know which plan you want. Make sure you confirm the preferred upgrade date, allowing one business day for processing. We'll send you a store coupon to the unused portion of the month. Please note that when you purchase an upgrade plan, you'll begin a new term of service. Once you have your coupon, go to the store and sign up for the plan you want, making sure to enter the coupon number. Also, make sure you include the order number or serial number for your existing plan in the comments field of the order form. When you get your product activation email, follow the instructions to log in to your account and apply your new serial number to complete the upgrade.

How can I get customized training for my organization?

It's easy. Just visit training and choose custom training (onsite) or custom training (web).

Do you offer discounts?
