Our software is available exclusively as download so you can start using it right away. After you buy the software with your credit card, you'll receive an email from us with download instructions and product serial numbers.
If you don't get this email within an hour or so, check your spam folder for an email from Articulate Support. If you've ordered an upgrade or used another method of payment besides credit card, it takes a bit longer since we first have to manually validate your order.
You can install the authoring software, for your use only, on up to two computers, such as a home and work computer, or a desktop and laptop computer. There is no restriction on the number of people who view your published content. See the Articulate End-User License Agreement for the details of our license agreement.
If you're not satisfied, for any reason, within 30 days of purchasing our desktop software, you get a full refund, period, no questions asked. We don't want your money if you're not incredibly happy. Just get in touch with us within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund your money.
Articulate Video Encoder ’09 is only available as part of the Rapid E-Learning Studio ’09 bundle.

If you want a support engineer to "visit your computer," you can purchase a live conference that includes telephone and web collaboration. Frankly, we sell very few of these since people really love our free support. For the lawyer types, here’s the official support policy.
First, gather up your serial numbers from your previous versions. Then, if you’re a current Platinum Membership Plan member, request your free upgrades.
Otherwise, go here to upgrade your previous versions with substantial discounts. Be sure to enter your current serial numbers in the store order comments for proof of upgrade eligibility.
You’re also entitled to a free upgrade if you purchased a previous version within 30 days of the new release (Studio ’09 was released September 30, 2008). Just contact us with your order number or serial numbers.
You can upgrade each product to the new version of that same product (e.g., you can upgrade Presenter 5 to Presenter '09).
Also, if you who have the individual products associated with either of the Studio packages, you can upgrade to that package. For example, if you purchased Presenter 5, Quizmaker 2 and Engage 1 separately, you qualify for an upgrade to Rapid E-Learning Studio '09 Pro.
No, the legacy versions of our products are no longer available for purchase.
