Wanted: Customer Support Representative (100% telecommuting)

The ideal candidate will be articulate (sorry), smart, technology- and Web-savvy, able to work independently, a fast learner, meticulous, and committed to outstanding customer service. Primary responsibility is receiving incoming phone calls to Articulate and helping the caller, or assigning the call to somebody else within Articulate who can best delight the caller. This is a unique opportunity to join an industry-leading team that develops and supports powerful, award-winning software.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls to Articulate
  • Own & resolve customer support issues
  • Assist customers in ordering Articulate products
  • Manage incoming fax and email requests into Articulate
  • Escalate calls when necessary
  • Actively contribute to Articulate community forums
  • Support sales team efforts (recognize new leads and up-sell opportunities)
  • Contribute to ongoing process & workflow improvement
  • Log customer data and all communications accurately and thoroughly in internal systems
  • Actively contribute to other functional areas of company

Qualifications:

  • Undying passion for customer satisfaction
  • Boundless curiosity about technology and solving problems
  • Experience supporting customers or in customer-facing role
  • Very high quality standards
  • High-bandwidth person who can work unmonitored (from home)
  • 4-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Quick learner
  • Energetic and enthusiastic
  • Willingness to go the extra mile & put in long hours, when needed
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with e-learning industry
  • Experience with Articulate products
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
