Community interactions are developed by your peers in the Engage user community. The interactions can be virtually any type of activity, and they work inside Engage ’09 just like our standard interactions.

How it works
First, a Flash developer uses the free Engage software development kit (SDK) to create a custom interaction. Then, to use the interaction:
- Make sure you're using Engage '09 Update 3 (2.1.901.713) or later.
- Download the interaction from this site.
- Double-click on the .ARTPKG (Articulate Package) file to install it in Engage ’09.
- Open Engage '09, click the Community Interactions tab, and select your newly installated interaction.
- Add your text and media using the same tools as other Engage interactions.
- Publish the interaction. You'll have the same publishing options as you have with the
standard interactions.
