A private user account is a user who has been assigned a username and a password.

A content item is content that you publish from Articulate authoring tools to your Articulate Online account. Here are some examples of individual content items:
A publisher is a person you've given permission to publish content to your account. The administrator for your account also has publishing permissions and is counted as a publisher.
Each time a content item is viewed, it's counted as one view. All paid plans have unlimited views!
A public viewer is a person who views any of your public content items. Public content items are those items that are available to the general public. Think of public content like content that is freely available on your public website. Anybody with the link to public content can view it. Usually, public content is utilized for customer-facing sales and marketing presentations, as well as public surveys.
All plans include the ability to choose a custom subdomain:
This domain will determine the link people use to view content. So your account could be located at acme.articulate-online.com or megacorp.articulate-online.com, etc.
With the custom account URL feature (available on Pro plan and higher), you can also choose from several root domains for your account:

Do I have to sign a long-term contract? Nope. Articulate Online plans are month-to-month plans, so you can cancel at any time. If you choose to cancel your account, you will never be charged again. Of course, you are responsible for charges incurred up until your cancellation. Refunds cannot be issued for payments already made and we don’t provide partial-term refunds.
I’d prefer an annual plan. Can you help me there? Sure thing. Since some customers prefer to pay for a year in advance, we have annual purchasing available as well. In fact, we throw in a free month of service just for your confidence. So you’ll actually get 13 months for the price of 12. Pretty cool, eh? Just click the Sign-Up button and you’ll be provided with the choice for the annual plan.
What types of payment do you accept? Since monthly plans are charged via recurring billing, only credit card payments are accepted for monthly plans. However, qualified customers can arrange for payment of an annual plan by purchase order, company check, or bank wire. Contact us for the details.
