Default Word of The Week

Nothing to do with Articulate but we've coined a new word here this week (actually we're using an existing word and giving it a new meaning) and wanted to share in hopes of a smile or two . . .

What do you call it when technical things suck up your time, have bugs, or are draining you dry?

Answer: TICKNOLOGY!

(And ain't it the truth! )

You probably already knew this, but "ticknology" has a synonym: LMS

Besides a synonym, it's also a symptom . . .

"How do I love thee, LMS. Let me count the ways . . . . " 0.

Gerry - I say you jump on it: http://www.urbandictionary.com/defin...erm=ticknology

It could be your legacy and overshadow your other, more infamous, photo-compositing legacy:-)

Kinda was feeling a new issue of the e-Learning Gazette was due. Let's see, for possible headlines . . .

"Anderson Claims Aliens Abducted His Prize E-Learning"

"Justin Joshes with Jeter"

"Brian Batt--Still As Handsome and Smart As Ever"

"Jeanette Jilts Michigan For Whatsamatta U"

"Mozealous 'Mazes Millions"

Those are some sensational headlines!

"Smart As Ever" is one letter from having an entirely different meaning:-)

Glad to hear you submitted the entry to Urban Dictionary. That's a real honor in my book. I've spent many a Friday night crawling the entries. Some are hilarious.

A turkey. (A wild one, that is. Hmmm, David "wild"? Probably not ).

We have 3-5 of them that roam the neighborhood regularly. We call them the "Turkey Tribe."

But don't get me started on the rabbits and bunnies . . .
