Hello! I know that I've seen an articulate blog on creating a desktop look with file folders etc., but I cannot find it. Does anyone have this information?
Many Thanks! Shannon |

Hi Shannon! Here's a good blog post where Tom describes how to use the desktop folder for part of the graphic design of a course:
Here’s a Quick Way to Create Your Next E-Learning Template in PowerPoint The Rapid eLearning Blog (He also includes a free download in the post, containing the folder design in PowerPoint.) To extend the desktop theme you could also follow the example shared in this tutorial, where all of the visual elements are built right in PowerPoint — it's a great example of what you can do with just PowerPoint's drawing tools: Create a desktop surface using only PowerPoint's drawing objects and special effects. Hope that helps! ![]()

Hi David and Jeanette -
Thank you so much for your rapid response - this is exactly what I was looking for and trying to locate it in my trusty "Articulate" email file was not getting me anywhere. I obviously need a better filing system Thanks again! Shannon |

Hey, that's great. When Internet Explorer fails, you can call the Articulate Explorers!

I realize "Articulate Explorers" is an open invitation for Gerry to bust out his Photoshop skills, but I had to take that risk.

Good timing on this. I was actually looking for the same post. Guess the desktop scene is popular huh.

. . . (mental note: save for later embarrassment of David and et al). Brian would be the Bat(t). Justin the Joker. Jeanette could be Jean Gray (X-Men). Tom could be the Kuhl-Man. But what to do with David? Hmmm . . . .? Hmmm . . . ? The Scandinavian Flash? ![]()
