Does anyone have recommendations for free audio downloads. I download an mp3 file recently and I think I got a virus.
Same question for images. Thanks. |

Hi!
Here's a recent thread where we discussed clipart/graphic images and sources for them. As for MP3, are you looking for music or special effects sounds? The clips in PowerPoint are often good sources--that and Microsoft's Office Online (access from within PowerPoint). If so, you may also wish to review this thread on copyright use.

Hi Kathleen
- if you're looking for music, I've used some things from an artist named Kevin MacLeod before - his work is free but donations are accepted. Be sure to read his FAQ to know how to credit him: Royalty Free Music

Just saw that David Anderson tweeted this link that looks like it has some great resources on it:

If you've got a few dollars laying around, Digital Juice has some awesome royalty free music:

Great alternative Brian. Digital Juice is great and best of all having access to the individual layers is a really great feature.

Thanks Brian for the help.
I had previously rummaged through Google, but was able to connect with Getty Images who have a service that will link to the original artists for rights to use the original songs. Although the client wanted the original tracks, this is a very expensive route to persue. Thanks for all your help. 'N |
