Hi,
When I publish Articulate for CD-ROM or for the Web, both output files are doing fine and the Print and Email Results button both work fine on my computer. But when I make a copy of the output files, for example when I burn them on a CD-ROM, or when I just copy them onto a USB-stick, or I even just make a copy of them on my own computer, then suddenly the Print and Email Results button won't work. What does making a copy do to the files? Can anyone help me please? greetings, Elka |

This issue is most likely due to Flash Player Security. Gabe outlined a workaround:
Bypass Flash Security & Attachment Download Issues in CD Playback

Although my problem didn't seem to have anything to do with Flash Security Issues, while I didn't get any Flash Security popup windows (and I have Adobe Flash Player 9 and not 8 as is written in your web link), it seems installing server2go solved my problem. Thank you. greetings, Elka |

We have tested the CD-ROM on 8 computers.
Computer 1, Windows XP: all works fine Computer 2, Windows XP, laptop: all works fine Computer 3, Windows XP, laptop: all works fine Computer 4, Windows XP: all works fine Computer 5, Windows 98: computer needs to make contact with Internet, before the movies will run, the buttons Print and Email results work fine. Computer 6, Windows 2000: server2go won't start and thus the presentation won't start. Computer 7, Windows XP: all works fine Computer 8, Windows XP: the buttons Print and Email won't work. What to do with the problems of computer 5, 6 and 8? On computer 6 we suspect that the user doesn't have enough permissions on his computer (for example he is not able to install any software on the computer), so he might not have enough permission to run a server. Could that be the problem? The most urgent problem is the problem of computer 8. Why do the buttons Print and Email results work fine on all the other mentioned XP computers, but not on this particular one? Could somebody help please? greetings, Elka |
