Hello Everyone,
1. Is it possible to embed a video player in a slide and Play multiple videos in the same place holder and published in AP. Ideally, I want to have a player in a slide and multiple videos to be played in the player. I'm aware that we can have upto three videos(slide, presenter panel,bg) but I have to play more than 3 videos in same place holder. 2. Is it possible to have a link or hotspot from one Engage interaction slide to another in AP.(Not as slide branching) Thank You. Last edited by Arvind Ponnusamy : 01-29-2009 at 05:40 AM. |

Hi Arvind. To accomplish the video player effect you describe, the easiest implementation would probably be to use the hidden slide approach. With this approach (assuming you have four videos), you would create four identical slides--each having hyperlinks to the other slides. On slide 1, you would have video 1, slide 2 would have video 2 and so on. If you make the last three video slides hidden, the transition between slides should be virtually transparent to the user.
If you want to use Engage to navigate to another slide in AP, Dave Perso wrote a nice tutorial regarding this on his blog. HTH, Phil |

Hi Phil, Many thanks for your reply. Dave Perso's tutorial was extremly useful.Infact I am already using the hidden slide approach and as you say the transition is quite transparent, still it would be nice to have such a feature, one day. I'm also trying to embed a VB based video player into AP slides. If I suceed, I'll share it with everyone.
Thanks again. Arvind |
