HI everyone,
Sorry, this seems to be my week for asking questions. I am trying to create on-click triggers as described in Dave Perso's blog: Creating On-Click Triggers in Articulate Presenter My problem is this. From what I can figure out when I try to do it myself, action triggers can only advance to the next slide (so they can't jump to, say, the slide after the next). This creates no problem as long as I have one click-on-trigger in a slide. What I can't figure out what to do is if I have more than one (for simplicty. let's say two) and I would like for the person to be able to repeat the sound they just heard (it's a word, not music, so manually repeating it would be useful). The only system that seems to work for me is the following: Slide One: two on-click triggers, but only one is functional (slide properties are set so user must manually advance to next slide) Slide Two: imported audio for the on-click trigger for previous slide (automatically advance to the next slide) Slide Three (identical in appearance to the first slide, with the exception that the second on-trick trigger is now activated) Slide Four: imported audio for second on-click trigger. Is there other way of doing this, so that 1) it doesn't matter which trigger they click on Slide One and 2) they can replay the audio for that slide. Dave Perso seems to have done that in his demonstrations, but I can't figure out how. The link to his zip file doesn't appear to be working, and I am not sure I can import a AP 5 into Studio 09. Thanks for everyone's patience, Joe |

Hi everyone,
Again, sorry to bother you with my works-in-progress, but I figured out the "problem" and thought I would let you know. An AP presentation needs to be published for hyperlinks to work. Unlike Quizmaker, which explicitly tells you can't use a hyperlink in Preview, AP does not, and I had forgotten about the Quizmaker prompt. So i developed an overly complicated system that didn't really work (branching really is child'a play). Have to say, I love Studio 09, although I am still getting the hang of it. Joe |
