Forgive me if this has already been asked (and I'm wondering why we didn't "catch this" during the betas) . . . It would have been REALLY nice if a set of mouse-like cursors could have been included in the set of annotation arrows in AP09. For quickly simulating a screen cap in AP09 on a slide, this would have been very nice to have. Did anyone ask for this? Did you folks at Articulate even consider this? Will be making an enhancement request on this one . . . http://www.articulate.com/support/contact/feature/

That would be nice, and I'll have to admit I haven't thought of it. Another thing that would really be nice is if I could make an adjustment to just one annotation (such as position) without having to go through setting all of the annotations for that slide again.

I'm telling you, I haven't used annotations that much yet but already it drives me crazy (which isn't that far of a trip
). Almost every time I need to make an adjustment to an annotation it'll either be the very first one or the very last, and either way I have to go through and redo them all.I've also found, even with update 1, the "re-annotate" option to be slightly buggy at times, with some old annotations not quite going away completely. Maybe it's less of a bug and more operator error ?

Well, I'm finding, at least on my XPSP2 laptop with PPT2003, that the new release is more buggy with annotations. I've filed a separate post here on that. My home Vista/PPT2007 rig with all the horsepower does not seem to have a problem with them (at least, so far--with fingers crossed . . .).I think annotations are my favorite new feature of AP09. Really digging recording using animated slides and using annotations at the same time to help direct the learner's attention with them.

I've already used them on a couple of projects and everybody is like "Wow, we really like those effects you added to the eLearning"...

And with the tutorial coming from Articulate shortly on how to optimize graphic image quality, using the annotations on screen caps is sort of poor man's Camtasia . . .
