Publishing for LMS, I have noticed a new file called player_backup.html being created in the root of the directory. I don't recall this in Articulate 5.
Can someone tell me what this file is being used for? |

That's the backup that was created when you ran the Flash 10 Updater.

I'm not bothered by it, and when you open it it just starts the course in a presized window in the browser I was just curious what the purpose of it is and whether I can just delete it. |

If you didn't run the Flash Updater then someone did or someone made a back up the player.html file manually for some reason. The Flash Updater makes a backup of all files it updates in the event that something goes wrong.
