Default The connected state of office add-ins

Hey folks,

All of a sudden (without even asking, mind you) PowerPoint doesn't seem to want to play nice with Presenter '09. I keep getting the disabled error message of death! "The connected state of Office Add-Ins registered in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE cannot be changed". I've tried the simple (rebooting, etc.), and searching the web for a fix, but to no avail...

Is there an easy fix or will I need to reinstall?

I'm running Vista with PPT 07.

Thanks,

Mike

Default Re: The connected state of office add-ins

Got it.

I was selecting the wrong menu item from within PPT menu. For those in a similar situation:

Select the funky round MS symbol ball.
PowerPoint Options (down on the bottom)
Add-Ins
Manage Disabled Items (bottom of the drop down).

For some reason I wasn't seeing that earlier and the manage COM add-ins option
returned the error message per my original post.

D'Oh.
