It's not just you. Even the demoes on this site failed. The playershell.swf file seems to be the culprit. This is very serious, and there doesn't seem to be a simple workaround, such as Flash version sniffing.

Any news on this serious potential problem?

Since Flash CS4 will be released in about a month, I would guess that Flash Player 10 would be out of beta around that time as well. Since the Articulate Presenter courses break when viewed with Flash Player 10 beta currently, this is very concerning.

Many of the users of the courses that I publish view them on their home computer, so I have little to no control over what version of Flash Player they have installed. If Flash Player 10 is released and the courses still do not work with it, then any home user that attempts to view the course will not be able to do so.

I have done some testing with the trial copy of Articulate Presenter '09 and have found that the courses published via that version of Presenter do work in Flash Player 10. Also, all of the demos on Articulate's website work as well.

What I would like to know is, does anyone know if Adobe knows about this issue and is working on a fix with Articulate or would an upgrade to Articulate Presenter '09 be the solution to the problem.

Any information or news about this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Also, I am using Articulate Presenter 5.2 and Microsoft PowerPoint 2003.

In what way do the presentations break. We are very concerned about this issue for the reasons raised above. We have no control over Flash player versions used by end users.

Direct questioning of Articulate support has failed to provide any confidence that this will not be a major problem for all of us.

We are aware of Flash player 10 compatibility issues. Flash Player 10 is still in beta and is not currently supported. As Gabe indicated we are working to address Flash player compatibility and we will have an update on how to address Flash Player 10 compatibility in the near future.

For any Articulate Presenter course viewed with Flash Player 10 Beta, the course loads, but then it appears like the screenshot in the link below.

As long as there is a solution for this issue, then I am not that worried.
