I have a client coming in to update (actually, completely replace) an existing project we created for him in AP about 2 years ago. Unfortunately, he's now using Keynote on a Mac, and attempts on his part so far to port it over to PPT have met with dismal failure (fonts look terrible, animations don't play.)
I realize that the animations will most likely have to be tossed, but has anyone here successfully ported from Keynote to PPT, and if so, how did you do it? Thanks, Alan |

I've also had trouble exporting from Keynote to PPT and am not sure that there's a graceful workaround.
If you need to see what was intended for the animations, your client could export their slideshow as Flash. Then at least you'll see what they want you to build. For fonts to survive the export, it helps if the Keynote file uses fonts that are also common to Windows. For example, I recently exported a file that used Verdana, and that went well. If your client knows how to edit the template they used, they could change the fonts to something that they like and that you also have on your system. |
