Great question, Steve! Your post intrigued me, so I've gone ahead and answered it in a new blog entry (short answer: yes):
Launch Presenter Course in Same Window with ThickBox Enjoy! ![]()

Thanks Gabe-
a whole blog post instead of just a reply-I'm flattered. After a day of messing around I'd got to about the same point as your solution, but the part you suggested about setting the Articulate output to "Scale presentation to fill browser window " was the icing on the cake. This made everything work smoothly. Your solution worked great for launching within Thickbox from an html page, but what I was trying to do was launch inside Thickbox from a Flash file which was a bit trickier. What we have is a client interface built in Flash from which we need to launch various media in as seamless a fashion as possible. With some modifications to the the JS Thickbox functions I eventually got it to work. Thanks for your post which helped a lot. steve |

Glad to hear it, Steve! That's great. I'm sure the post will also be of interest to others since we often get questions about how to embed Articulate content on an existing web page, and I think this is a really cool way to do it.

Gabe:
I have implement the thickbox per your instructions and it looks great. However we use the player template with sidebar, outline etc. and the viewing size of the presentation is really too small. Increasing all the size variables which call thick box, doesn’t seem to substantially increase the “box” size. Do I need to modify the thickbox files? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks |

Hi Steve- welcome to the forums!
Glad to hear this worked for you. Yes, if you download the sample project file I used in the blog entry, then take a look at the index.html file at the root level of the download, you'll see this code: Code:
<!-- thumbnail with link to launch thickbox --> <a href="#TB_inline?width=640&height=400&inlineId=APThickBoxDemo&modal=true&scrolling=no" class="thickbox"> ...or are those the dimensions you already tried adjusting? Good luck!
