From the blog: I’m working on a Presenter project with several topics and would like to make some of them branching (others are Engage, etc.) I’m not finding a way to mix these topics when the navigation buttons will take them through the branching slides if they choose them instead of the hyperlinks on the slide? What am I missing?

There are a few options that I think of off the top of my head. [I'm thinking through this as I type.]
Disable the navigation controls in the player. Then just build your navigation in PPT using hyperlinks. If you use Engage, it has a next slide option, which allows the learner to navigate away from the Engage slide. Dave has a post on links in Engage that might play into creating some navigation. Quizmaker allows you direct a learner away based on the quiz results. When disabling the navigation features, it is best to set any quizzes to be free for navigation and do the same for the player template. Otherwise the user will get messages that prevent him/her from advancing. Hope that helps. |

I use "look-alikes" from Engage. The "look-alike" is a .png file of the Engage screen, inserted into a PPT slide, with links. In the presenter, I will start with a selection screen, with the look alike as the image. Then the links on the look alike will take the learner to the selected engage presentation. I do the same thing as the "next slide" when the learner has completed the engage interactation.
