Is there anyway to export to a single swf file rather than multiple swf files for each slide? Any help with this would be appreciated.

This is currently not a supported feature, but you could put in a feature request.

I don't think that will solve my problem in this instance, but thanks anyway.

Hi digitaldego77. I concur with Brian's previous post.
Just asking: what would you plan to do with the single SWF file (if it could have been done)? The reason I ask is that there might be another approach to meet your end need. Phil |

It was a request from a third party who is hosting our developed training. I am sure there could have been another solution, but like most things, time was not on my side. I resolved the issue by re-building my presentation by hand in flash - not the ideal solution, but it solved the problem for now. Again - thanks for the input.

I've done presentations in the past where I will take all of the slide content and then copy and paste it into one. That's worked fine for me...as long as they slide didn't have too many animated effects

What we do is to use an html bailer. This creates an exe file with all of the presenter and swf files in a single file. There are only a few choices available. The one we use works fine but it doubles the size of our presentations as a side effect of bailing into a single exe. We have about 50 30 minute presentations that total about 1 gbyte but grow to 2 when bailed...but we protect our swf files and make a single call to the presentation without keeping all of those sub directories that articulte uses.

I tried this work around which workes fine but the quality is compromised a bit. I played the presentation and used a screen capture tool to generate a single swf. I used Cam studio which is a freeware.

I'm also interested in your comment that you protect your swf files. How do you go about that and what level of protection do you get? Do you use the swfprotect.net product? |
