I've got a problem that wasn't present with PowerPoint 2003 before I installed Articulate trial.
I have inserted a video (Camtasia) into my file using AP. When I click on one of the other slides PPT flashes as if it is loading or drawing slides or something. I assumed it was because it was doing something funky in the background. Annoying but not the end of the world. I went to create an interaction in Engage. When I am typing in Engage (launched from the Start bar and not from PPT) I can see PPT flashing in the background too. A quick search only found one hit which said reinstall PPT. That's a drastic solution if this is a simple AP/AE thing. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks. |

One thing I would suggest doing to rule out if it's a hardware issue would be to turn off hardware acceleration and see if that resolves your issue. You can do that in Windows by going to Start -> Control Panel -> Display -> Settings. Click the Advanced button. Click the Troubleshoot tab. Move the slider for Hardware Acceleration to None. Click OK and try to reproduce the behavior.

Justin, thanks. I found the answer. Stupidity
![]() I have been working with both AP and Camtasia open. It seems to be a conflict between the two. When I shut down Camtasia PPT stopped flashing. I guess it keeps polling the screen. I'll just have to run one or the other ![]() |

Thanks for adding the resolution. I hope this can help someone else if they run into the same problem.
