Question Strange letter showing up in title

There is a strange letter showing up in my title when we "preview" that isn't on the slide at all. It is the letter "R" and it is not actually there but, when we preview, there it is!

Any ideas how to make this not happen?

Hey Judi,

I have had something like this happen (might not be the same thing) but if you have an apostrophe, comma or some other punctuation in place of this strange letter then it could be the font you are using. E.g. I was using Cambria Math as the font in my project and AP didn't like the punctuation however the rest of the text was fine. To solve this I made the punctuation in Arial font which solved our problem.

This might not be your issue though??

Unfortunately, no, there is absoluately no letter or punctuation where it is putting a letter. what it looks like this:

Release 4.4

Looks like this:

Release 4.4 R

But thank you for trying to help me. I am stymied and really cannot figure out why this is doing this.

I would suggest you submit a case by following the steps below.

Please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:

Send to Articulate Presenter Package – Articulate Presenter ’09 Help

Upload the resulting zip file from your computer to our server using this upload form:

Please be sure to include a description of your issue, your version of PowerPoint, version of Windows and version of Presenter '09 which you can find in Help and Support -> About Articulate Presenter. Please also include the URL for this thread so we can follow up with you in the forums.

The fix is apparently to group the title with something else, or to make it into a picture. Thanks for the help offered and suggestions.
