Exclamation Powerpoint link color changed by Presenter

Hello!

I have changed the color scheme in PPT so that my hyperlinks are red. Published presentation shows the links as the default teal color. How do I make the desired link color show up correctly in the final presentation?

I don't see any reference to this in the .xml files. I changed the background color in PPT in the color schemes and Presenter took that, but not the link color.

Thanks in advance!

This is from the PowerPoint help menu:
1. On the Format menu, click Slide Design.
2. In the task pane, click Color Schemes, and then click Edit Color Schemes.
3. Click the Custom tab.
4. Under Scheme colors, click Accent and hyperlink or Accent and followed hyperlink, and then click Change Color.
5. Do one of the following:
Click the Standard tab to select from the Standard color palette. Click the color you want, and then click OK.
Click the Custom tab to mix your own color. Click to select a color, and then click OK.

6. Click Apply.

Thank you for responding but my question was why, after having changed the color scheme in PPT does Presenter ignore the new color.

I gave up and did without the link.

Thanks again
