Does anyone know how to decrease the volume of the background audio while narration is playing?
I want to have 2 separate audios for music and narration. Thanks a lot! |

Hi!
Sometimes we use the Audio Editor in AP to do this and lower the volume. But we usually edit the sound file (usually WAV) and just decrease the volume there and we re-add to our Articulate sound library, under a new name. then we have the best of both worlds. Sometimes, we even use something as simple as Windows Sound Recorder to do that. Other times, we use Audacity for the control.

Hi, artsy:
If you use a playlist for your background audio, you can set its volume relative to the on-slide audio narration. |

Hi, Brian!
Thanks for the catch there. Believe it not or we had someone forget about that and had two courses using the same sound file but got caught by the different volumes. That's when we started recomending creating new versions.
