Hi,
I have placed a recorded conference call soundtrack in a course - length 9 minutes 16 seconds. No matter whether it is in a course of 65 slides, or 4 slides, it will not automatically move to the next slide, and the small "counter" as you run through the track stops at 0853. Any known issues with soundtrack lengths? I could add some audio asking them to manually press the button to move forward, (which works fine), but this is not ideal and suggests something else is at work.... Bruce |

Hi Bruce,
I am guessing that you have hit the 8 minute 53 second barrier for Flash SWF files running at 30 fps. Flash has a limit of 16000 frames in a SWF file. The workaround would either be to publish your presentation at 15 fps essentially doubling your time per slide or splitting up your 9 minute audio file into two smaller files. Changing the frame rate from 30 fps to 15 fps in a published Articulate presentation can cause problems with timings and syncing so you need to be careful and test thoroughly. You change the frame rate in PowerPoint -> Articulate -> Presentation Options -> Publish Regards

Hi Bruce,
Here's a workaround that you can try: 1. Convert the audio file to FLV or MP4 2. Import the file into your slide 3. When the video placeholder shows up on the slide, drag it off of the slide canvas 4. Publish your presentation This may or may not work for you. In the past, I've been able to import MP4 files that are 14 minutes in length and have them play all the way through without stopping at 8:53.

In case you need help converting the file into MP4, I recorded a screen cast for you:
Screenr - @articulatebrian: Convert long audio into an MP4 file and import it into your #Articulate presentation to workaround the 8:53 issue Good luck!
