I'm creating a presentation and I love the layout and functionality of the demo here:
Articulate Presenter '09 - Demos, titled: Example E-Learning Course. I would specifically like to know how they added the items on the second slide, "You'll learn how to:" Thank you! |

HI elearningdiva!
Great question. This effect was created using the "descend" and "ascend" Entrance animations. Here's the sample file to look at. Please let us know if you have any questions! David |

Created a quick screencast using the Descend and Ascend entrance effects.
Screenr - @elearning: How to create the Articulate's Pallet Jack intro animations in PowerPoint using Descend and Ascend I don't see that effect used as much. Glad you asked about the effect! David |

Hey, that's great! Glad that worked.
It's a great use of the Ascend and Descend entrance effects. Thanks again for following up. David |

David, can you also tell me what you used to create that grey grid in the background that divides the images?

Sure! I took the easy path on the lines;-)
I just used the basic line tool (Insert > Shape > Line) and colored the Shape Outline to light gray. The pallet example probably used a gradient fill on a rectangle and made the edges transparent. Here's a quick example of how I think it was done. |

Thanks for that reply... say, your voice is so clear on your videos. What mic do you use? How do you get such crisp audio?

HI Gerry - thanks for the feedback on the voice and microphone. Here's an awesome thread where a lot of us share demos and examples of the mics we use.
Microphones - Share your demos here It's a good thread because you hear real world examples of mics along with why we chose our mics. Let me know what you think or if you have any other questions! David |
