Hi Guys,
I just watched Tom's Screenr about edits to Engage's Page Turner. I have found limitations to the page turner: 1) you cannot mix text and pic’s on the same page; 2) you have limitation to DTP layout ect; 3) and I have found it locks sometimes and leaves parts of the page turn artefacts on screen and I have to reset (not good in a live presentation). So, it’s clear that Adobe is moving to a more holistic integration of their products. If you want a very nice Page Turner - here is an idea that maybe worth considering. Indesign Desktop Publishing tool (Adobe’s Quark and Pagemaker killer) can output an interactive swf – especially page turners, wipes etc Try this tut Adobe InDesign Tutorial | CS4 | Export InDesign Layout to Flash Presentation | Layers Magazine Hope it helps Gazzzz |

Hi gazzzz,
Have you tried using Youblisher? Publication Network - Youblisher.com - turn pages / flippable pdfs - pdf's zum umblättern You can then include the document as a web object into a presentation.

Thank you Brian,
I was looking for a standalone swf so I could embed the solution - Onsite presentations are sometimes problematic for web access. Thanks again for the tip Cheers Gazzzz |

This tutorial is great Gazzzz. I have InDesign but have not used it. This gives me a reason to.

This is something that I have been looking to try and do for some time now. I have used the page curl function in a standalone presentation fine, but cant seem to get it work with / in articulate. I have embedded the .swf file that has been exported from Indesign, but when I publish the course it seems to lose the interaction. Can you advise as to how you got around this? Thanks!! |
