Wow!

Exactly what I was thinking!

Way cool (ditto!).

I want one!

What do you mean exactly by "try it in yours"? How do you install it?

download these two files and put them in your published data/player directory
http://www.purplepython.com/demos/pr...essTracker.swf
http://www.purplepython.com/demos/pr...rt_plugins.xml
If you already have an art_plugins.xml you will want to edit it to include the new plugin.
I think I should change the sizing a bit... and perhaps it should be centered....

Hi this.onEnterFrame,
Thank you for being so gracious. Keen to test it out.
Does it take into account if there is an engage interaction on a slide?
Cheers

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful . . .

Notice it doesn't work with IE6. Must be somewhat browser-specific.

Also, wonder if a "close" button or icon might be in order for the "I'm-confused-and-just-want-to-close-this without-picking-a-slide" crowd?

Things like this are why this community is so GREAT!!!!!

That's great! I'd love to be able to make the indicators not track every slide -- just each topic/section/lesson/whatever. That way people don't feel forced to go through every slide -- just hit every topic.

Hi this.onEnterFrame,
Can I echo Gerry's idea - be great if you could add a close "X" button in the right-top-side of the popup-slide-indictor - might be in order for the "I'm-confused-and-just-want-to-close-this without-picking-a-slide" crowd?

I could only get it to work by adding both files into the Player directory. Thanks again - rather impressive
Cheers

I'll take a look at it monday... adding a close button shouldnt be hard.
I need to think about to implement Heather's idea. I think I could base it off the existing slide levels but I would need to add some logic to mark them complete after the child slides have been viewed..
I have no idea why it doesnt work in ie6... (other then IE6 blows)
