Kelly:

Argh! This is very aggravating. I thought you'd given me the solution, but it doesn't seem to be working.

For reasons known only to my PC, the first course now does the same thing as the second course. After clicking the hyperlinked object, I get the Information Bar warning "To help protect your security, IE has restricted this page from running scripts ..." ). I click to allow the content, and the browser connects (in the same window) to the linked document (PDF) just fine.

Clicking the BACK button just takes me to a blank screen with the IE warning again. I click to allow the content, which returns me to the linked document, not Articulate. The only way out is to close the window, which closes Articulate as well.

I am using IE 7. I have played with what seems to be the only relevant settings in the AP template (Other tab), having to do with launching the presentation in a new window.

When opened, we would like the learner to be able to view, print or save the linked documents.

I'm really very sorry. I have no idea why it would even pop up that security warning. I run the same .html linking file on my home laptop using IE7 and Vista, and it pops up without that warning and works fine.

Is there a way you could send me your Articulate course? I'd like to play with it and see if I can reproduce it. If that's not possible, I understand.

Kelly,

I replied via a personal email, but am not sure you would see it. I just discovered an email there to me from last year!

Anyway, I would be thrilled to have you take a peek at my course. I will need an email address so I can send you the files as an attachment.

Tim
