Hello all,
I'm producing modules with Articulate Presenter '09 for delivery via Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro, but I'm having a little trouble getting the tracking to work. Does anyone here know the correct settings to use? Acrobat Connect Pro ostensibly supports AICC content. Their available documentation is pretty pitiful though. This help document contains one paragraph about it. I've done what it says and my modules launch just fine, but they don't seem to be tracking. I've created four variations:
But none of these seem to work. Has anyone had success with some other combination of settings exposed through the Articulate Presenter interface, or with making manual edits to the files in the published presentation? Thanks in advance. |

Bisbee,
Our institution has an Acrobat Connect Pro account, and I'm not sure that it will play nicely with Articulate. I know that I can upload and play an Articulate presentation from the server, but I can't open and play during a live webconferencing session. I've not tried tracking the content, but wouldn't be surprised if the two aren't completely compatible. Sorry that I'm not more help! Mike |

My understanding is that Adobe Connect is an AICC LMS. So you have to publish for AICC. Change the index_lms.html file to index.html and then upload the content and it should work fine.

That has been my experience so far as well -- Adobe has vague claims to being SCORM compliant but they just don't cut the mustard there from what I have experienced.

Hello all,
Thanks for the replies so far. In fact, I have been publishing as AICC and changing the name of "index-lms.html" to "index.html". In my first post you see the details of the tracking/reporting combinations that I have tried. None of these have worked so far. I suspect that Adobe's AICC API must be slightly non-standard in some way (assuming that Articulate's AICC support does conform to the standard). I haven't yet dug into the code to find out. I was kinda hoping someone else had, to save myself the trouble. ![]() |
