Hello - have just downloaded Presenter because I wanted to convert a PowerPoint 2007 slide presentation into a Flash programme.
The programme has downloaded fine and it shows the opening page to click on but thereafter I haven't a clue how to get my slides into a Flash format. I believe I am reasonably computer literate and can do most things, but nowhere here (that I can see) is there a magic button that does just that. Can someone help me please? Thanks NoL4U |

Hi NoL4U,
You should be able to open your presentation in PowerPoint 2007 and then see the Articulate in the top menu in PowerPoint. Select that, and then click on the Publish button. Select the format you want to publish by clicking on one of the tabs to the left and then click on Publish. That, in a nutshell, is all you need to do but there will almost certainly be other settings you will want to make. I would check the tutorials on this page. Articulate Presenter '09 - Tutorials

Hi Dave and thanks for that - Duh - feel so foolish when it looks so easy. Howver, have tried it and it converts the slides perfectly, but does include the music background that runs continuously in the background as the slides roll through. How do I get the audio onto the Flash?
Thanks - sorry to be so fundamental - like all computer stuff, so easy when you know how and so impossible when you don't. NoL4U |

Hi NoL4U,
Happy to hear that things are progressing. I couldn't understand if there is an issue with the running music or not. Regarding the other audio, you might be a little unlucky here. If you recorded audio in PowerPoint via SlideShow -> Record Narration, then there is an issue in our latest release which is stopping that getting published. We will be addressing this in Update 5 which I understand is imminent. In the meantime, you can workaround this issue. Please see: Audio recorded via SlideShow -> Record narration doesn’t publish - Articulate Presenter ‘09 Knowledge Base Don't hesitate to get back with any other questions. Regards
