Assign mandatory course with completion date...possible?

Hello everyone-

New to AO and I'm feeling a little frustrated with two potential limitations.

1) I want to assign courses to an audience and have a due date that the user must compete the course by. For example, Jon Doe must complete all three courese by Jan 1st, and if he fails to complete them by the due date an automatic reminder email goes out to Joey, and possibly me, the admin.

2) Secondly, I would like a greeting to go out for each course assigned to each member that I signed up for a course. Is this possible?

Thanks Brian. Appreciate the quick response, and it's the one reason I recently decided to purchase more of the Articulate products. I am disappointed to say the least in regard to the missing features. I would consider both of these features pretty basic.
