Is there any chance saving as image and re-importing would work for you?

Hey DougS - I totally understand why saving out as images would be a time tiger.
Did you try Justin and Dave's suggestion for ungrouping? If that didn't work, can you please submit a ticket so they can take a look at your files? Articulate Support - Contact David |

Ungrouping them didn't work at all. That is how I ended up with the double text look in the slide after it is published. I will open a ticket and see what solutions might be available.
Thanks for all the responses! |

I had the same issue of my SmartArt not entering the slide while viewing in Articulate, even though the custom animation was set to do so. In addition, I tried ungrouping and adding the animations individually and I, too, had the text create a double-overlay.
I just wanted to share with those of you who don't have tons of graphics, that the suggestion to save each graphic as a picture is a great workaround. Thanks for the tip! Lauren |

I just discovered that SmatArt animations don't work when you use a soft return for your text (Shift + Enter) and instead, will only work if you use a hard return (Enter).
Hope some users might find this tip helpful! Lauren |

I posted this same message in an older thread and did another search and found a more recent one (this one)
I have developed a pretty extensive presentation using PPT 2010 and have included a fair amount of Smartart images and spent a fair amount of time setting up animations for the smartart. When I publish the presentation the smartart is not rendered properly and the animations are not working. Additionally I notice much of the 2010 image modification features (like fading an image in the background, or having a simple box appear embossed, etc...) just don't get picked up by articulate when I publish the presentation in to flash. So has anyone heard back with any updates to this issue? |
