Does anyone know if it's possible to remove the Engage "title bar"? I have played around with some of the available color settings, but there is a shadow, or halo, that I cannot completely eliminate.
Engage.png Thanks in advance for any tips! ![]()

At a quick glance it appears that the title bar is hard coded by the software Interaction templates. Possibly a future version might include a check box as displayed under the "Interaction Properties" --> Tabs button ...

Cool avatar, and thanks for the reply. That's what I'm thinking as well. I had hoped that the improved color scheme editor would allow me to creat the illusion, at least, that the title bar is gone, but no luck there.
Having the ability to remove this would make it easier for me to smoothly integrate my Engage interactions into the design of the rest of my course. I don't want to have to give the rest of my course an Engage-style look just to keep the design throughout, if that makes sense...

Hey, Brian! Would removing the text itself be okay enough by replacing the interaction title in the AP-outputted data.xml file with just a blank space? Not as elegant as removing the whole bar I admit . . . Best.

Gerry, great idea. I may play around with that, but ideally would love to be able to eliminate the unwanted graphics eventually.

Gee, Brian, from some of my rants in the recent beta, I was expecting you to say something "gee, look who's calling the pot black."

I went the other route and made my PowerPoint default background match the Engage layout. Now the presentations look seamless (if somewhat restricted on design). Now if I could just make Quizmaker backgrounds conform...)

Bob, thanks for the feedback. I've also taken this approach with some projects, but I agree that it somewhat restricts the design possibilities. One thing I intend to play around with, in both Engage and QuizMaker, is using the transparent background option. This may open the door to some greater design flexibility, especially with QM.
