Exclamation Quiz created in QuizMekr incorporated in Engage

Hello everyone,

I am trying to incorporate a quiz created with QuizMaker into Engage (I am ussing the "Add media" feature and I insert the swf file generated by QuizMaker) , and I am receiving a message saying: "The swf file contains script with references to "_root" and may not function properly if displayed within the interaction".

When publishing the new window opening doesn't display the quiz.

Please help.

Thank you,

Cleo

Hi, Cleo

Not sure if you're still looking for a reply about this, but if you are, you may want to check out this page; it worked for me.

Have fun,

Hi Dragos,

Thank you for your quick reply. I really needed this. I was in such a hurry.

A question: are you Romanian?

Have a nice evening,
Cleo

Hi, Cleo

Yep, Romanian - you? It was quite a coincidence that I needed exactly the same thing last night and I was so excited that I've just spent the whole night finishing off a package with several Engage interactions as tabs, each one with its own Quiz. Articulate is definitely super cool!

Next thing to figure out is how to add several quizzes to Engage interactions if I need to do so ... and the thing after that is to keep fingers crossed that the next update contains branching functionalities in the Slide Properties Manager (and ideally in the Quizmaker integration with Articulate, too...) Maybe I should just go to bed before I write a whole shopping list

Happy articulating,
Dragos

Hi Dragos,

Yes, me too, Romanian. I was very happy with your answer, as I was in such a hurry...Managers want things made overnight...and I am novice in using Articulate. Now they don’t want to incorporate quizzes into Engage anymore, is very funny what happens.
Now we have another problem: a flash movie incorporated into Engage doesn't work when the whole package is uploaded to a LMS (OnPoint).
I will write another post.

Good luck with your projects,
Cleo
