Hello, I am fairly new to Articulate. I have 6 wmv extension video files I need to publish in order to place them in my LMS. Can Engage handle wmv extensions? I've tried and it doesn't seem to except them. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Doris |

I would recommend converting your wmv files to flash.
There are many applications that can convert WMV to SWF or FLV. For best practices working with Flash movies in Articulate content I would suggest taking a look here: What's the best method for creating a Flash movie to insert in Presenter?

Hello Doris,
I would also note that standalone Engage content cannot be published directly to an LMS. You would need to integrate the Engage interaction content in Presenter and then load the Presenter content into the LMS for tracking. See the following: Publish Interactions Publish to LMS I hope that helps. Sarah

Let me get on my proverbial band wagon here. Not all video is Flash-based--you folks need to recognize this and at least add web object support in Engage to support us integrating other popular video formats in the player (without having to launch a new browser session with a web link) or add support inside of your products for other video formats--at least QuickTime and WMV. Some people are not audio-video techies and forcing them to convert video to Flash is not very customerly-friendly, IMHO . We have a mixture of folks here--both techies and SMEs. The SMEs need help here.I've done an enhancement request on this. I would encourage others to do so, too. Off me soapbox. ![]()

To quote Michael Caine to Christian Bale in Batman Begins - "Never."
