I would like to create an Engage interaction that has parallel timelines in order to capture a corporate history. For background, two companies that started about the same time merged in 1995 under the name of one of the companies. I want to summarize the history in such a way that accurately portrays both.
Any ideas?

That looks like it would work for me. I would have to make the text size larger in the timelines to make it a bit easier to read, but the model would work.
Now the question becomes publishing the timeline into the tabs interaction. How do I do that?

Hello Greg,
This post by Dave should get you going in the right direction on embedding Engage interactions within other interactions: embedding engage interactions into glossary

Hi Greg,
Glad to see that it is working out ! As no doubt you can see, in the example, I created a tabs interaction and two timeline interactions, and then inserted the two timelines into the tabs interaction after publishing. I see that Brian has given a link to get you started. If you want to publish to an LMS or AO, then you have to publish either unzipped, or you unzip the published folder, make the adjustments, and then re-zip before sending onto the server. Dave

In the interaction properties, you could also reduce the width of the buttons in the Tab interaction from 30% of the real estate down to 10% (the smallest allowed). That might give you a little more room for the embedded timeline interactions: ![]() Best. - Gerry |
