I hate to be the one pointing this out but I took the tutorial and did all of those steps no problem.
But the tutorial goes through and tells you to just copy pre made code into the actionscript. It doesn't really go into what everything is. Half of the symbols included in the template I still have no idea what they are and they were never explained. The data models are not very well documented and I think the tutorial at step 12 show text of which you don't get when you test the movie. Even if you open up step 12 to check your code the image does not match the results. I would like to know more about the functions and methods and would also like a better tutorial, I believe this is why not many interactions have been created. At the moment i am still trying to decipher this cryptic code in your files because also not many comments were put in. Also naming conventions where never discussed in the documents and would be rather helpful. (mc = movie clip, en = engine) g_n = ? g_o = ? n = ? etc..... Thanks for the help. |
