Thanks for the ideas. I had already thought of putting a transparent shape over the imported swf, but when published the stacking order is switched so I can only get the powerpoint shape where it sticks out around the swf. So that won't work.

The link is interesting, but it seems to be all about getting animation when you click. I need the animation on rollover to show that "Hey! This is a live active button."

I guess I'm back to the idea that there really needs to be a way to have a web object or swf file tell the presenation "Next Slide."
