Later this year, we hope to re-visit SCORM and our Saba 5.3 LMS, if only for testing.

One thing in your article possibly concerns me on that. We have some custom e-learning content from outside vendors and some others developed in-house with Lectora that used Java applets to communicate with the LMS.

Without exception, all started having completion problems or course freeze-ups with the LMS about 15-18 months ago about the same time when we finally abandoned the Microsoft VM for the SUN Java client. One vendor claims their courses have problems due to corrupt Java installs pushed out by our IT group.

Just wondering if I should be concerned with SCORM in our environment?
