Default Using FLVs

I am experiencing some browser weirdness when trying to use FLVs in Articulate, here are the symptoms:
I have a button that when clicked launches and html doc which launches a .swf, which in turn launches an .FLV.

In FireFox: It seems to open but wants to ignore the html file's instructions to open at a certain size

In IE: cannot even display the video and completely ignores the sizing.

I have done this before, but just opening a .swf containing an animation and it worked.

Also, I would like to have it so when the user clicks the video button that the narration stops, otherwise the narration keeps going and overlaps the sound on the video. I guess I could do the same thing by just not making the button appear until the narration is over but would prefer not to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
James
