What we did to produce those (in Camtasia) was the following:
  • Set your screen recording to be 980x560
  • Export the .SWF at 20 FPS
  • Insert via AP using default Insert Flash Movie settings (ignore the warning that resolution is too big)
  • After you see the Flash movie placeholder in PowerPoint, click on on it once, then do 2 left arrow clicks (to get the alignment correct in the AP player)
  • In Player Template Builder -> Other, set browser size to display at user's current size and presentation size to lock preso at optimal
  • In Slide Properties Manager, set the slide view mode to "No sidebar"
That should get you what you see in our AO tutorials on the screen recording slides.
