Last week was the annual Training conference in Atlanta. Mark and I held down the booth, which was a big job for just the two of us. We had to ask our booth neighbor to snap this shot on the second day before the show opened:

As is the case at every trade show, it’s non-stop action at the Articulate booth from the moment the expo floor opens until the vendor area is officially closed.

People love our software and it’s always a great experience and privilege to show it off in person.

From comments like “wow” to “that’s awesome” to “that’s exactly what we need,” I sometimes wish I had a mental video camera so that I could replay some of the unscripted reactions.

The next best thing is capturing some quick video testimonials from enthusiastic customers (also unscripted). Here are a few that we managed to get.

Following the Training 2008 show, I headed to San Francisco for vacation. At the beginning of my trip home yesterday, I was sitting in my seat on my Delta flight at 6:30am as other passengers continued to board. I was wearing my Articulate fleece and was getting settled in my seat when a fellow traveler stopped in his tracks when he saw the Articulate logo. “Woah, you work for Articulate?” he asked. When I told him I sure did, he said, “I use your products. And wow.” He walked away before I had a chance to talk more, but such was the sentiment at last week’s conference, and it was cool to have that encounter outside the context of an industry show.
