BestOf2006_Winner.gif Articulate Presenter is “rapid e-learning production at its best.”

I’m pleased to announce that readers of Elearning! Magazine and visitors to its site have named Articulate Presenter 5 Pro the winner in two categories in the Best of 2006 E-Learning Awards:

  • Best Presentation Tool

  • Best Authoring Tool

“The Best of Elearning! Awards are unlike any hosted in this market,” said Catherine Upton, Publisher of Elearning! Magazine. “Every brand and product was reader-nominated and the winners are the leading vote earners from each product category.”

Articulate Rapid E-Learning Studio also received an honorable mention in the Best Authoring Tool category, so to some degree, we actually competed against ourselves in that category — and still managed to win.

The win, which is a repeat of last year, is a great honor for us.

Congrats to the Articulate team, and a big thank you to all of you who voted for Articulate and recognized us yet again as the best in the industry!

Here’s our press release, which just went out today:

Congratulations ! How is it, though, that Articulate Presenter Pro got a better score than Articulate Rapid Studio in the Authoring Tool category given that the latter INCLUDES the former? Did Quizmaker decrease the atttractiveness of Presenter or was price taken into account or was it another factor?

Actually David, it’s because this was a write-in ballot only. So I think most voters only considered a single tool, not a bundled suite. (At least that’s what I did.) So that’s why AP ranked higher than Studio. :-)
